Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and the people who run TikTok Photo Downloader at tiktokphotodownloader.com ("we", "us"). By using the site you accept them, along with our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Not affiliated with TikTok

TikTok Photo Downloader is an independent tool. It is not made, endorsed or supported by TikTok or ByteDance. TikTok is a trademark of ByteDance; we use the name only to describe what the site works with.

What the service does

You paste the link of a public TikTok post. Our server looks the post up on TikTok; the video then streams to you through our server as an MP4 without the watermark, while the photos of a photo post and the sound come to your browser directly from TikTok, the sound converted to MP3 on your device when needed. You do not upload anything, and we do not keep copies of what you download.

Content you download

• Download only content you own or have the right to use, such as your own posts or posts whose creator has given you permission.
• Use downloads for personal purposes. Re-uploading, selling or presenting someone else's work as your own is not allowed without the creator's permission.
• Respect creators' copyright and TikTok's own terms of service. You alone are responsible for how you use what you download.

Fair use of the service

• No bulk or automated downloading: don't run scripts, bots or scrapers against the site or its API.
• Don't overload the site, probe it for weaknesses or try to get around its limits.
• Don't use the site to break the law or anyone else's rights.
• Don't resell the service or build a product on top of it without our written permission.

To keep the service usable for everyone, we may rate-limit, slow down or block any visitor, network or pattern of use we consider abusive, without notice.

Copyright and takedown requests

If you own the rights to a TikTok post and do not want it to be downloadable through TikTok Photo Downloader, email support@tiktokphotodownloader.com with the post link, proof that you are the rights holder (or are acting for them), and a short statement that the request is made in good faith. We can block specific posts from being processed by our server. Because we never host the files, the content itself stays on TikTok; to remove it there, contact TikTok directly.

Our content

The site's design, text and logo belong to us. Please don't copy them without permission.

Open-source software

TikTok Photo Downloader is built on open-source projects, used under their own licenses: yt-dlp looks posts up, FFmpeg converts audio on our server, and Mediabunny with the LAME MP3 encoder converts audio in your browser.

Changes and interruptions

The service depends on how TikTok works. When TikTok changes its site, downloads may stop working, sometimes for a while and sometimes for good. We may also change, pause or end any part of the service at any time.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no promise that it will always work, that every post can be downloaded, that files will be complete or error-free, or that the service will suit your purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, lost data or missed opportunities, nor for how you use content you download. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater. Nothing here takes away rights that the law in your country gives you and that cannot be waived.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the date at the top of the page changes with them. If you keep using the site after that, you accept the updated version.
